European Ground Motion Service: a Copernicus service on ground movements in Europe - On line Workshop, 21st and 22nd October
The online workshop dedicated to the European Ground Motion Service (EGMS) will be held on 21st and 22nd October
The European Environment Agency (EEA) has been entrusted to implement this new Copernicus service, as part of the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service’s (CLMS) product portfolio.
The Copernicus European Ground Motion Service (EGMS) aims to provide reliable and consistent information regarding natural and anthropogenic ground motion phenomena over Europe. The information will becollected via the interferometric analysis of Copernicus Sentinel-1 radar images and targeted application areas will be mainly within natural risk mapping and asset management.
The University of Florence and ISPRA, the Italian Geological Survey, will present the situation of ground motion services in Italy (at national and regional level)
