Online the Annual Report 2019 of Geological Survey of Italy - ISPRA


The annual report 2019, referring to data 2018, of the Geological Survey  of Italy - ISPRA is available online . The report describes the numerous activities carried out by the various areas with particular focus on the subjects that most involved the staff. Some examples are the new Regional Geological Surveys Network composed of 19 regions, 3 ARPA, over 50 experts working on 11 thematic working groups, or the restoration of areas affected by the seismic sequence in Central Italy (2016-2017), or the activity of  modeling  that led to the creation of the "Norcia" Sheet at the scale of 1: 50,000, or the technical and hydrogeological geological consulting activity to boost the restoration of productive activities and the viability, or the gravimetric studies for a better knowledge of the territory, the implementation activities of the ITHACA database on the faults capable for seismic micro-zoning purposes. In 2018 the sixth edition of the Land Consumption Report, territorial dynamics and ecosystem services was also published. The annual report of the Geological Surveyof Italy describes many other important activities that have led the Department to become a Point of reference both for local, regional and national administrations and for professionals.
