Geological Survey of Italy Portal

The new gravimetric map of Italy and surrounding seas at 1:1250,000 scale has been published by using in-land and off-shore data from data collected by ISPRA, Geological Survey of Italy and the National Institute for Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics (OGS).

The project CARG aims at publishing 636 geological and geothematic sheets at 1:50,000 scale, that comprehend the entire Italian territory. To date, 14 geothematic sheets (geomorphologic, applied geological, hydrogeological) have been already published.
