Public consultation 2021 for the Landslides Monitoring Guidelines
The public consultation for the Landslide Monitoring Guidelines opened today. The consultation will be open until June 16th, 2021.
The Guidelines aim to harmonize procedures and provide references and criteria for the design, installation, management and maintenance of landslide monitoring networks, as well as for the dissemination of data. Th guidelines have a practical and operational approach with the target of enhancing the experience and the knowledge gained, providing users with the elements for a correct and effective methodological approach, to make targeted and conscious choices, to give uniformity at national level to new monitoring network projects.
The guidelines are intended to represent a reference tool for those who operate in the field of monitoring and control of landslides, such as Public Administrations, infrastructure network managers, freelancers.
