The phytotechnologies, an approach to remediation of contaminated sites based on the use of plants, are constantly growing up with the aim of eliminating, degrading, immobilizing or monitoring the pollution in soils and groundwaters. The scope of the workshop is to share the progress in the application of phytoremediation in Italy with the intent to individuate new horizons to define good practices for sustainable remediation in order to give specific and effective answers to the necessities of our territory.
