Geological Survey of Italy Portal

The GeoSciences IR project, funded by the MUR through PNRR Mission 4, is kicking off. A research infrastructure for the Italian Network of Geological Surveys will be created that will make available to regional geological surveys the data, services and tools needed to carry out the functions of monitoring and control of the territory for different areas of Earth sciences.

GeoSciences IR is coordinated by ISPRA, with the participation of 16 partners (13 universities and 3 research organizations).

The work, which started on October 1, 2022, will last 30 months, after which the infrastructure must remain fully operational for at least 10 years.
