Research activities are going on as part of the European project EO4GEO, for the case study of the Terme di Baia and Cuma within the Archaeological Park of the Campi Flegrei (PACF). Following the General Agreement between ISPRA and PACF, direct field survey have begun for the geological and geomorphological characterization of rock masses and the preliminary assessment of local instability conditions (also through indirect investigations). The Acropolis of Cuma as well as the “Antro della Sibilla” will be the subject of a specific thesis in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering (Alma Mater University of Bologna).
