CARG Summer School of Geological Surveying and Cartography
The second edition of the Summer School of Geological Surveying and Cartography CARG held in Predazzo (TN) in the Dolomites, territorial headquarters of the MUSE of Trento, has just ended. Organized by the Italian Geological Society and the Department for the Geological Survey of Italy-ISPRA, also with the collaboration of the Geological Museum of the Dolomites, it was attended by 25 geologists from all over Italy, mostly young people, who were interested in learning more about the methods of collecting on the ground and archiving geological data, according to the standards provided for the realization of the official Geological Map of Italy, at the scale 1:50,000.
