Following the approval of the new regulation of the Committee, it was necessary to ask regional and provincial geological surveys to designate the new representatives of their structures. In some cases more representatives have been designated as the geological competence is distributed between different offices or between Region and ARPA.
The President of the Board of Directors is dr. Maria Siclari, Director of the Geological Survey of Italy - ISPRA. The Vice President is dr. Andrea Motti, Umbria Region.
The Board of Directors establishes the Thematic Tables and prepares the Three-Year Plan, a planning document already provided for by the State-Regions Geological Coordination Committee, which collects the project proposals in geological and geothematic matters to be promoted in the three years following the date of adoption.
