Geological Survey of Italy Portal

The National Council of Geologists, in collaboration with AIGA (Italian Association of Applied and Environmental Geology) and AIGEO (Italian Association of Physical Geography and Geomorphology), has organized a webinar on 19th November to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the tragic earthquake in Irpinia on 1980. The event is an opportunity to better understand what we have learned from such a dramatic event that has certainly marked a turning point of a seismic emergency  faced in our country. In the Round Table, which also includes the intervention of the President of ISPRA, Mr Stefano Laporta, we will analyse the seismicity and seismic risk in our country.
